How are donations spent?
Donations = Food
About 94% of our income is spent on food. The other 6% goes on basic bills such as rent so that we have places to distribute food from, bills, insurance etc.
100% volunteer run
Unlike some charities, our foodbank is 100% staffed by local volunteers. This means any money you donate goes directly to the cause, not on people's salaries.
Emergency fuel
We have a small fund (about £100 a month) to be able to provide emergency fuel payments for select people in dire need of heating/electricity.
