Winter & Spring Boost

Kirkcaldy Foodbank ran a Winter and Spring Boost initiative when representatives from the Community Welfare Support team and Citizens Advice and Rights Fife (CARF) were on-site to support people who came to the foodbank at three of our hubs across the town. Our aim was to enable the people who came to the foodbank to have an opportunity to have a conversation with one of the representatives from the support agencies. We wanted to try to ensure people were receiving all relevant benefits and were able to reach out for any other support that they might require with issues such as housing, mental health support, addiction referrals etc.
