This item is a donation of monetary value for the foodbank to spend on food items to create emergency food parcels for those in need. The exact food items we buy with these donations may vary from week to week according to what we are most in need of, but all donations will be spent on food for those in need.

We have worked with NHS fife to create food parcels that meet nutritional requirements for a healthy diet. These include a balanced mix of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. To do this we need to purchase fresh food items such as fruit and vegetables, eggs, milk, bread etc. We cannot accept these food items at our usual donation points in store due to storage facilities meaning only no perishable food items can be taken. However, these items are some of the ones we need most - donating online like this means you can support us in purchasing these items and help those most in need stay healthy and have access to quality nutrition during a time of crisis.
