Local business On Cloud Pine are running a Christmas collection for Kirkcaldy Foodbank

Local business On Cloud Pine is spreading holiday cheer while supporting Kirkcaldy Foodbank this season.

Known for their high-quality, sustainably sourced Scottish Christmas trees, On Cloud Pine has two pop-up stores in Kirkcaldy, located at Town Square and The Buffalo Farm. From November 27th to December 22nd, they’ll be offering a selection of beautiful, fresh trees – perfect for adding that festive touch to your home.

On Cloud Pine held a collection at their pop-up stores last year, where customers received a free hot drink in exchange for a small donation to Kirkcaldy Foodbank. Thanks to their customers’ generosity, they raised an incredible £278! This year, they aim to beat that number. Alongside their collection buckets, On Cloud Pine is donating all profits from sales of their mini Christmas trees to support our mission to make sure nobody in Kirkcaldy goes hungry, especially at Christmas.

At Kirkcaldy Foodbank, we’re incredibly grateful for the support of local businesses like On Cloud Pine. Their commitment has made a real difference to those in need, helping us provide food parcels and support to local families and individuals. With their help, we’re working to ensure no one in our community has to face the holidays hungry.

On Cloud Pine’s Christmas trees are premium grade, grown in Fife and the Highlands, including Fraser and Nordmann Firs as well as pot-grown living trees. Each tree comes with a unique code, letting you trace exactly where it was grown. You can visit their pop-up stores to choose your tree or order online. They’re offering 10% off all pre-orders made before November 24th with promo code EARLYELF24 at www.oncloudpine.com, and they deliver to all KY postcodes.

Spread the Christmas Spirit with a Donation

As Christmas approaches, we’re reminded of the festive season’s joy, but also of the hardships it brings for many, especially those facing food insecurity. While you’re picking up your Christmas tree, we encourage you to donate to On Cloud Pine's collection. Every donation – no matter the size – helps us provide essential food and support for families struggling this winter. You can also donate directly to Kirkcaldy Foodbank's Christmas appeal on the Kirkcaldy Foodbank website to ensure that everyone in our community has enough food to eat this Christmas time.

Calling All Businesses: Help Us Make a Difference

If you’re a local business looking for a way to give back, consider holding a collection for Kirkcaldy Foodbank. Whether it’s a donation bucket, a special promotion, or an in-store event, your support can make a meaningful difference for those in need. We’d love to work with more local businesses to make sure no one in Kirkcaldy goes hungry this holiday season. Together, we can create a stronger, more caring community!

No-one should go hungry.

Together we can end hunger.
