Fife Council chief executive visits foodbank

Updated: 5 days ago

Kirkcaldy Foodbank was delighted to welcome Ken Gourlay, the chief executive of Fife Council, to the Park Road Centre on Thursday, April 10.

Mr Gourlay - who was one of the guest speakers at the foodbank's AGM in 2024 - was shown around by chair Angela Campbell and spoke to volunteers making up food parcels and handing them out to clients.

He was particularly interested to hear how well the foodbank's partnership with other agencies which use the centre is working to change the lives of people in need in the community.
