The foodbank is very grateful for support form local businesses and it makes such a difference to have them involved. The foodbanks mission is that 'nobody in the Kirkcaldy area goes hungry and everybody shares what they have'. Businesses coming together to Fundraise for the charity goes along way to helping those most in need in the area.

On the high street both Bob and Bert's café in Kirkcaldy and Roots and Seeds got involved and held food collections amongst their staff and colleagues to donate to the foodbank. Merchants house safe also gave a generous monetary donation as well as free hot drinks vouchers for their café to give to people coming to the foodbank for support.

The charity - shop mobility fife also got involved and held collections accross their stores in Kirkcaldy to support the foodbank for world hunger day. It's great to see such a variety of organisations getting involved and caring about those facing food insecurity. Togther we are stronger. Nobody should go hungry.
